What Can I Do?

Reasons to do something:

--No one should be above the law

--We pay taxes so that government agencies will enforce the law on behalf of the people

--If government can do this to one of us, they can do it to any of us

--Power and money without accountability equals corruption

--Something has to be done whenever officials, whether elected or appointed, are more responsive to those with power and money than they are to the citizens to whom they are accountable

--If the citizens of Kansas don’t care enough to do something, then who will?

Things I can do:

--Educate yourself.  Read through this website, check out the links, and learn more about post-viable abortions and those who are supposed to regulate it

--Talk to your family and friends to educate them

--Pray for justice and integrity in our state government, law enforcement and judicial system

--Go to the Board of Healing Arts link, print off the petition, ask everyone you know to sign it and mail the petition in to Kansans for Life (see address below)

--Write to the Board of Healing Arts to request an immediate and complete investigation of Dr. George Tiller and all other Board licensees employed or affiliated with Dr. Tiller from 2003 until now—(go to: http://www.ksbha.org/board.html )

--Write or call Gov. Sebelius to ask her to make appointments to the Board of Healing Arts who will respect and protect human life and who will respect and enforce the law—(go to:  http://governor.ks.gov/contact.htm )

--Learn about the current Kansas Supreme Court justices selection process, why that process is a problem and what reforms might be needed to correct it—(go to: Kansas Supreme Court link and

http://www.fed-soc.org/doclib/20071126_KansasPaper.pdf )

--Contact your legislators and ask them to do all they can to make sure the abortion laws are enforced—(go to: http://www.kslegislature.org/legsrv-legisportal/index.do )

--Contact Attorney General Stephen Six and urge him to move forward with the 19 misdemeanor charges already filed against Tiller—(go to:  http://www.ksag.org/content/page/id/45 )

--Send us your e-mail address if you would like to receive the Kansans for Life legislative alerts
